Introduction

Rotary valve is a special device used in discharging, packaging, mixing, dust-filtering, metering and quantitive conveying in conveying system for solid materials such as powder, pellet and powder-pellet mixture.

Working Principle

Driven by a motor or a speed reducer, a vane wheel with uniform structure is rotating in a shell. The material falling from bin or feeder above the shell fills in the cavity of vane wheel. Then the material discharge out of the bottom side of the shell while vane wheel is rotating. In this way, the material can be discharge evenly and constantly downstream according to the requirements of conveying system.
